I originally set out to create a stand alone vehicle model sheet, but I ended up with extra time to create a full illustration featuring my design
The Transport Ship

I wanted to create a whimsical but aggressive-looking ship that could fit in a ghibli-style world. I had a lot of fun coming up with funky designs
After I designed the ship, I decided to try and showcase it in an environment. I love the style of ghibli background paintings, so I went in that direction and tried to showcase a calm setting that could juxtapose the bizarre design of the ship. I went with the second thumbnail option since it put more direct focus on the ship itself, and I’m happy with how it turned out
